Making Changes to Master Generators within a Master Project
Changes made to Master Generators for Master Attributes do not refactor automatically without performing an additional step. To refactor these changes to Child Projects, you must use the Sync Generators button located below the assigned Generator’s Parameters within the Attribute Dashboard.
These changes will need to be synced to appear within Child Projects:
- Adding another Generator (Link Generators)
- Replacing the assigned Generator
- Removing an assigned Generator
- Making changes to the assigned Generator’s Parameters
How to Sync Master Generator Changes to Child Projects
Note: For Generator Parameter changes, remember to click on the Save Generator button to save your changes.
Click on the Sync Generators button to sync changes to a Master Generator for a Master Attribute within each Child Project that inherits from it.
Note: If you do not click this button, the changes will not be synced with the Master Generator and will not appear within each Child Project.
