How to Register a Client Application with GenRocket

An Org Admin must first register the client application within the GenRocket organization to use GMUS.

How to Register a Client Application

Complete the following steps to register your client application:

Step 1: Expand the Organization Menu in the top right of the GenRocket web platform and select My Organization.

Step 2: Scroll to the bottom of the My Organization page and select the New Application button.

Step 3: Enter the Application Name and a brief Description (optional). Once finished, click the Save button.

Once saved, GenRocket will receive the request for an application ID from your client application using the REST API Client. When the client application is successfully registered, it will be given a Universally Unique Identifier (UUID). The user who initiated the request will be notified by email of the successful registration.

The client application will use the given UUID when it makes requests to run Scenarios via the GMUS. The GMUS will use the client application UUID to validate the client applications that can run GenRocket Scenarios and generate synthetic test data.
