How to Download the EDI Config File and Scenario Chain Set

A user must download the EDI Config File and Scenario Chain Set to their local computer to generate EDI test data.

Please note that the default location for the EDI Config File on a user’s local computer is the config subdirectory.

How to Download the EDI Config File

Step 1: Expand the Management Menu within the Menu Bar and select EDI Management.

Step 2: Click on the EDI Config button to download the EDI Config File.

Step 3: Copy or move the EDI Config File into the config subdirectory and rename it to config.xml.

Note: The default location for the EDI Config File on a user’s local machine is the config subdirectory. If the configSubDir Parameter value within the EDISegmentMergeReceiver has been modified, the EDI Config File will need to be within the defined subdirectory.

How to download the Scenario Chain Set

Step 1: Expand the Management Menu within the Menu Bar and select EDI Management.

Step 2: Click on the Scenario button to download the Scenario Chain Set.

Step 3: Click OK in the prompt window. It will take a little time to prepare the Scenario Chain Set for downloading.

The user who requested to download the Scenario Chain Set will receive an email once it is ready to download.

Step 4: To download it to the user’s local computer after it is ready, click the Scenario button again.
