How to Create a New Project Version

A new Project Version can be created within a Project at any time. When the New Version option is used, it will create a new version of the Project with no Domains, Scenarios, etc.

How to Create a New Project Version

Step 1: Select a Project within the Project Dashboard.

Step 2: Expand the Manage drop-down menu within the Project Versions Pane.

Step 3: Select the New Version option.

Step 4: Enter a Version Number and Code Name for the new Project Version.

Step 5: (Optional) Check the Enforce Type/Limit checkbox. The Enforce Type/Limit option ensures generated data is within a defined data size. When checked, this option will automatically be enabled for each Generator configuration.

Step 6: Click the Save button.

The new version will appear within the Project Versions Pane.

Note: You can use the Copy Version option within the Manage Menu to copy an existing Project Version within a given Project. To learn more, please see the next lesson of this training module.
